Kathleen was born and raised in Royal Palm Beach, FL. She holds a Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Florida and has been working in Austin, TX as a neonatal nurse practitioner for the last 15 years. She has a passion for education and teaching and is the founder and director of the Dell Children’s Neonatal Simulation Program, an immersive learning experience for healthcare providers to practice and hone low-volume, high-risk newborn resuscitation skills in a highly realistic environment.
Kathleen’s greatest passion is her family. She and her wife, Natasha, met through an online dating app in 2018, fell in love, and haven’t looked back. The couple has been nothing if not efficient in their five years together—getting married, buying a home, doubling the size of their family – now with six children – and building a life of love, compassion, and kindness.
