Enneagram Classes at The Abbey

What is the Enneagram? The Enneagram is a powerful tool for personal transformation. It is based on a collection of nine distinct styles or strategies for relating to the self, others, and the world. Join us for one or all of our classes to explore this powerful tool for building self-awareness. Registration is below.

Enneagram Circle

These sessions, offered via zoom, will start with a short topical introduction and then focus on group discussion, in the big group and in small breakouts. We recommend some prior knowledge of the Enneagram..

The upcoming dates are:

Saturday, April 2, 10 a.m. to 12:00

Topic:  Re-Engaging with the World In this discussion, we will look at the challenges each type faces in rejoining the world after a couple years of isolation and disconnection.  We will also look at what gifts each type brings to the world when they reconnect.

Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m. to 12:00

Topic:  Re-Engaging with the World: Conflict In this discussion, we will look at how each enneagram type handles conflict with other people, especially a couple of years of isolation and disconnection. Based on work by Ginger Lapid- Bogda, we will look at the strengths and challenges of each enneagram type in conflict as well as tips for development.

Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m. to 12:00

Topic:  Re-Engaging with the World: Resilience In moving forward after the last two years, the idea of resilience is important. In this discussion, we will look at the ways each enneagram type can increase their resilience.
