Dr. Coblentz Bautch is Professor of Religious and Theological Studies at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. Her research interests include and her publications take up the history and religions of Israel during the Persian, Hellenistic and Roman periods, nascent Christianity, pseudepigraphical, deuterocanonical and apocalyptic texts, Enochic literature, textual criticism, the interpretation of Scripture and the history of women in the Second Temple period and Late Antiquity.
