Every phase of life, from our first breath to the last one, has both challenges and blessings. But, when we’re growing older (rather than being old), we have the opportunity to live with a new kind of fullness and clarity. In this study of Parker Palmer’s very readable book, On the Brink of Everything, we will explore questions such as: In this phase do we have a new vocation, a new calling? What spiritual practices can help us reckon creatively and meaningfully with the reality of our changing physical selves and with the number of our days? And, finally, what does all of this have to do with our relationship to God?
